On My Wishlist (3)

On my wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City. It's where we list all the books we desperately want but haven't bought yet! And let me tell you, I have a lot of those!

Eden didn't expect Az.

Not his saunter down the beach toward her. Not his unbelievable pick-up line. Not the instant, undeniable connection. And not his wings.

Yeah.

So long, happily-ever-after.

Now trapped between life and death, cursed to spread chaos with her every touch, Eden could be the key in the eternal struggle between heaven and hell. All because she gave her heart to one of the Fallen, an angel cast out of heaven.

She may lose everything she ever had. She may be betrayed by those she loves most. But Eden will not be a pawn in anyone else's game. Her heart is her own.

And that's only the beginning of the end.

Why I want it:  I've only ever heard amazing things about this book.  I love to read stories about fallen angels and the fight between heaven and hell! It sounds like a book that would be right up my alley!

On My Wishlist (1)

On my wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City. It's where we list all the books we desperately want but haven't bought yet! And let me tell you, I have a lot of those!

This week on my wishlist:

I chose Incarceron by Catherine Fisher because I have picked up this book so many times in the bookstore, read the synopsis and then put it back. I want to read it so bad but then something I want more always catches my eye. The cover is amazing, the second one has already been released so I've made the decision that I'm just going to buy it as soon as I can and not opt for a different book!

Incarceron is a prison unlike any other: It's inmates live not only in cells, but also in mental forests, dilapidated cities, and unbound wilderness. The prison has been sealed for centuries, and only one man, legend says, has ever escaped.

Finn, a seventeen-year-old prisoner, can't remember his childhood and believes he came from Outside Incarceron. He's going to escape, even though most inmates don't believe Outside exists. And then Finn finds a crystal key and through it, a girl named Claudia.

Claudia claims to live Outside-her father is the warden of Incarceron and she's doomed to an arranged marriage. If she helps Finn escape, she will need his help in return. But they don't realize that there is more to Incarceron than meets the eye. Escape will take their greatest courage and cost far more than they know.

Because Incarceron is alive.

So excited to finally get my hands on this book!!
